Lowlife

from District 72 by In the Middle

/

lyrics

Tattoos remain unfinished
My phone lies unrepaired
I feel so disconnected
And no one seems to care
I’m running out of money
I’m running out of time
The ones I love they bring me down
They never hear me out

I am a lowlife
I am in misery
I am a failure
So you don’t mess with me

My stereo is broken
My days are incomplete
My thoughts remain unspoken
There’s no one here but me
My hood is on the outskirts
My job is underpaid
I’m not that superhero
But I’m all self-made
